I wanted to take a moment to thank you again for all of your time, help and support in finding my home in Star Valley.  From the day we met in Alpine Wy.  I knew I'd found the right guy to show me around the area and identify the best places to look for my Wyoming getaway!  I really appreciate the way you listened to what I was looking for, steered me away from places that weren't a good fit, and ultimately led me to the fabulous property in Auburn Wy.  It's everything I was hoping to find, and so much more!

TETON BOARD OF REALTORS  MLS Statistics - For the month of January there were 62 total properties sold at an average sale price of $759,222. The total dollar volume sold was $50,631,260.

Jackson Hole Statistics - There were 20 properties sold for the month of January. The average sales price $1,525,611. Total dollar volume was $31,985,907.

Star Valley Statistics - There were 17 total properties sold for the month of January. The average sales price was $150,900. Total dollar volume was $2,844,099.

Teton Valley Idaho Statistics -12 Properties were sold. Average sales price was $193,366. Total dollar volume $2,450,800

Jackson Wyoming - Interesting but useless facts

Interesting but useless fact: The first box of eight Crayola crayons made its debut in 1903. The crayons sold for a nickel and the colors were black, brown, blue, red, purple, orange, yellow, and green.
 
Boy have we come a long ways.
 
The housing market has also come along ways from really high interest rates to extremely low rates and prices that were up are now down.  Although Jackson Wyoming has not been hit with an abundance of foreclosures,  the housing market has dropped.  Appraisals have been coming in lower than expected.  However, the sales have remained consistent.
 
Core Logic (leading providers of financial, property and consumer information, analytics and business intelligence) said:
“While we cannot say with a high degree of certainty what 2012 has in store for us, indications based on the latter part of 2011 are that both the broad economy and the housing market are moving toward positive growth in 2012.
